Easy, DIY, homemade keto-friendly chocolate chips.
Who wants to save money by making homemade chocolate chips?! We do! You can use a vegetable peeler to make chocolate curls to garnish our chocolate mousse yesterday. YUM!
I N G R E D I E N T S
3 tbsp coconut oil We recommend this!
6 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder We recommend this!
2 tbsp erythritol We recommend this!
I N S T R U C T I O N S
Add ingredients to a small bowl
Microwave in 6 second intervals until coconut oil is melted
Stir ingredients until a chocolate syrup forms
Pour into an 8x8 parchment paper lined baking dish and spread evenly (The size of you baking dish will determine how thick or thin your chips are)
Refrigerate for 10 minutes or until solid
Chop into small chunks. Save larger pieces to make chocolate curls using a vegetable peeler, if you want
Store in refrigerator
Side Note: Because these are made with coconut oil they will be more melty than regular chocolate chips.
